On-the-Job Driving By the Numbers

On-the-Job Driving By the Numbers

Remote work continues to be common throughout the United States. But return to office (RTO) mandates have increased, and with that, the country is seeing an increase in daily commuters. In fact, the U.S. Census Bureau found that nearly 70% of workers commuted solo in 2023. With about 140 million people driving daily for work-related activities, it's no wonder that 40% of all vehicle-related accidents happen while one or more drivers are on the job.  More concerning is that 5-17% of drivers are on the road with a suspended license, meaning that employee drivers could expose their company to legal liabilities. Employers can get ahead of the game by staying informed about the risks of the road and their driver's qualifications.

The Numbers Speak for Themselves
